Spaces are still available in Norwood Viviano’s “Kilncasting: Demystifying the Digital,” August 13-24 at The Studio. Using Rhinoceros software and 3D printing technology, students will combine traditional methods of kiln casting and the latest digital output technology. Plaster investment strategies, lost wax, and 3D-printed PLA burnout will be explored, as well as basic cold working to complete kiln-cast parts. To register, contact The Studio by calling +1 (607) 438-5100 or emailing thestudio@cmog.org.
