This cut glass design by John Hoare known as the “Crystal City” or “Wedding Ring” pattern is rare among cut glass patterns. Unlike many cut glass designs, Hoare patented the “Crystal City” design. The curves and intricacy of the pattern could only be executed by a master glass cutter.
